I am a believer in global warming but it is truly being tested for us here in WI. Spring is coming …yes it will be and the other day I was forced to go into a greenhouse just for validation….but then I came back into the store and started working on some of the new estates that we just purchased..absolutely fabulous spring clothes and some are actually in a larger size.
Here is Grace in one of the fabulous Alfred Sheehan spring florals. Doesn’t she look wonderful.
Then we have Megan in blue…a wonderful ’50′s blue sheath that can be dressed up or dressed down…perfect for those great times you want to channel your inner “girly=girl” 
…and not to be outdone …our furniture section also has received several great spring like items …. just what you need to bring a new look to your home…How could you have a bad day when you start you AM at this set…

So much is new….we have purchased 2 estates within the last few months and lots of goodies from each of them. We found some fabulous larger men’s clothing at one and they are going as fast as we put them out. Look at our models wearing some of the women’s fashions that we found
and check out this great sofa…from 1968 with the original cushions … I do so remember that pattern. It is as comfortable as it is cool.

Yes, after talking about it for several years….we made a couture dress out of peeps…yes the candy. Well it truly ended up being a labor of love for half was quite easy but the skirt…challenged us to say the least. But it turned out very cute and we have had a lot of fun with it… so “HOP” on in and celebrate with us

Ya know when the snow is dingy and grey and ugly looking??? Ya know when you cannot see the beauty in it anymore no matter how hard you look???
Well, stop in for a shot of Spring at AtomicKatz too. We just found some new furniture that is absolutely wonderful. Starting with a 1968 molded plastic sofa with it’s original orange/tangerine cushions is wonderful shape.
Next we have a blue/brown day sofa from the’50′s that is spectular and in excellent shape.
Then as YOUR accent pieces, we have several new Mid Century Modern chairs but the one that I simply love is the black vinyl armless with RCA stamped on the back. This orginially was a reward for dealers that “raised the bar in sales” but YOU can have it today.

So, the other day I was driving to the store and as I was driving down Waugoo Avenue, I noticed that for valentines day….you did NOT need to go any further than Waugoo Avenue, Oshkosh WI.

Here it is January 12, 2012 and we are having our first real snow. Of course it is quite the snow as it started this AM and is not to end until tomorrow evening.
Yesterday the temperature was 45, I did not wear a coat to the store and some of our customers actually had shorts on….Yes, we do live in WI … why do you ask?
So today it is 24, I am wearing a coat, have been shoveling the sidewalk but ya know, it is pretty. Everything is white and pure looking, soft crunching sounds when you walk in the snow and it does feel good to come inside to a hot fire.
So, if YOU have postponed updating your winter wardrobe..come on it. We have just got 2 yes 2 wonderful Lily Ann winter coats that are simply MAGNIFICANT!!!! 1 in particular is red with white fox at the wrist. What more do you want???? Come on now…. Lily Ann red with white Fox???
We also have some great early 60′s cashmere and some in your face plaids to simply die for…
