OMG!!! Midge and Gladys struck again. This time we received a “lovely” wood box with MI stones on it. BUT the interesting part is we got a phone number to call and do a presentation on our charity cart….now you and I know that we don’t have a charity cart…OK so who is going to call…hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Rock Paper Scissors…

I am getting smarter…I kept the card this time. But on Saturday, when we came to open the store, there was another bag in the door way with 2 dolls and a “your a special person” card. … So here is the card “Well Friends, we are out again today to the farmers Market and I want to bless you with a little something to sell and make a profit on. We came all the way across town last week and found out the market was moved because of EAA. I do enjoy wathcing the planes. It brings back memories some good and some sad. I still love a man in uniform. Gladys feels that we should get a cellular phone so we won’t have to sit at home waiting for the phone to ring. Who’s going to call? She sometimes acts like the first lady! I told her I wanted to come out and meet you and maybe have a cocktail and maybe dinner. God bless for all you do…Midge and Gladys” Well friends…what do you think??? it is a couple of sweet little old ladies who have adopted AtomicKatz as their special project and are sharing their treasures … OR are we being punked ???? As Wm Shakespear once penned… To be or not to be etc etc….

Well, the saga continues. It is now the end of May-early June and surprise….another gift from the mystery ladies. This time it is a small pitcher /basin AND an artist dressed cat painting a portrait. AND another card .. another get well card no less. Again I do wish I could quote it but paraphasing they again hoped we could make a profit and did want to stop in and visit very soon but their lives were quite busy right now They also mentioned one of our new neighbors who is “Elle Mae Romance Boutique as this was something that used to be only talked about in the bedroom or over coffee in the kitchen with girlfriends…tee hee”…. so again…is this real or memorix??? I simply cannot tell

Well, one day we found a bag with a black Africian mask and a card. I do wish I had saved all of the cards….but to the best of my memory, it said that they were happy that we had a “charity cart” and that they hoped we could make a nice profit on one of their treasures. They continued with that they enjoyed our windows and wished us well and while one of them wished to stop in and visit, “Gladys drove too fast and wouldn’t stop”.
OK…is this a real or memorix moment? The card was an old Christmas card that came from one of those boxes your Grandma had….and after a bit, thought nothing of it…WRONG!!!!!
Around Mar/Apr another package was left in the doorway. This time with an old get well card and 2 ceramic kissing angels. Again, wished us a nice profit on a treasure. Was excited to have the Farmers Market come downtown (which we all are) and wondered if we had a bathroom they could use if they came down to the market….HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, now I was thinking….are we being punked????

Plans are being made for July 4th and for AtomicKatz the plan is FIREWORKS!!!! nothing says 4th like the booms and the bangs and the awwwwwwws. I have seen many fireworks and I must say with full confidence that the City of Oshkosh, WI puts on as good of a show as you will find. So see you there.

Picture this…your sitting in your GREEN back yard mixing drinks for your friends and/or family in this wonderful vintage colbalt blue shaker, pouring the drinks into great glasses and putting them on the little red wagon coasters to protect your furniture…does it get any better than that???
