Yes it is that time again for EAA in Oshkosh. The skies are alive with planes of all kinds and I find myself casing out the best place to park and watch the night show…me and hundreds of other locals.
The best part is that everyone who comes to this event and they do come from all over … are just the nicest people. Today I had a couple from Australia who loved vintage, a lady from CA who doesn’t like planes and came with her husband as it was on his bucket list and we just bonded immediately and another couple from AZ who are truly into MCM furniture and drooled on the LaChaise…
I do find that I truly enjoy the planes a great deal this year and the formations are amazing. The War Birds are here this year and while noisy, very uber cool to see them in the air.
